I tend to agree with Bill. It would be nice if there were an option to turn
off bounce on error. My mac.com account has been having quite a few errors
this last few days and the bouncing icon is quite annoying. I keep my doc
hidden, but that makes the bouncing icon all the more noticeable.

I usually remove the account with errors from the include in Send and
Receive, but I then have to remember to reinclude it after the problem is
fixed.
