Cron and crontab file are part of standard Unix operations. With OS X, we
get all of these wonderful Unix utilities for free since they are part of
the kernel on which OS X is built.

I find it fun to open the terminal window once in a while and practice my
long-forgotten Unix commands. I even downloaded and installed a bunch of Gnu
software that is standard Unix stuff. Never thought I would get back to
them, but there we are...
