Word is actually an HTML editor, which can render HTML tags and so on.
That's how it can do such things. Entourage is a very poor relation, as far
as I understand They have completely different text engines. There's no good
reason for you to assume that Entourage can do the same as Word here if only
it tried a little harder. Anyway, I find Entourage's method much more
sensible and user-friendly. It's easier to work with, and as soon as I save
it i can click it. 

I agree that URLs in Notes, tasks, etc. should be clickable.
