Text engines aside, when I make a link in a note (and arguably in an e-mail) it should be clickable. If Entourage has the ability to make links in *incoming* e-mail clickable, it clearly has the feature to handle clickable links. The fact that links are not clickable in Notes and elsewhere seems a serious omission. > There's no good > reason for you to assume that Entourage can do the same as Word here if only > it tried a little harder. Paul, please don't misunderstand - I'm not assuming anything, and I never mentioned "trying a little harder". I'm a new Entourage user, asking if, perhaps, I've missed something that would be needed to have Entourage allow links to be clickable. I'm migrating to Entourage from MS Outlook 2000 on a Windows NT box. When I type a URL into an e-mail message or a note in Outlook, it's immediately clickable. I had hoped there was a way to have Entourage behave similarly. I was particularly hopeful, since Entourage has an "Insert Hyperlink" command. > Anyway, I find Entourage's method much more > sensible and user-friendly.
