Well, that would have been my understand too, but the facts don't fit here.

This is from someone who I emailed once or twice a week. He uses, and I use,
a new email address. That address is in my address book. And that address
does show up in the Recent Addresses cache.

However, there is another address that shows up -- one that he hasn't used
in probably six months or more, and I haven't either. Yet, it doesn't go
away, and actually shows up as the first address in the popup (I think this
is merely because it is alphabetically first).

I tried created a new entry in the address book, with this email address,
and then deleting it. No go.

It's a minor problem, really -- and it's not worth me clearing my entire
cache. But thanks for the suggestions.
