Of course, some ISP's use PPPoE..there might be a prob with auth or something. I'm guessing this, I have no personal experience with PPPoE on the mac, for all I know its built into the OS...

Diane, What do you mean "lost out on a lot of savings?" Why can't you just configure your TCP/IP stuff on your own and use whatever DSL/ISP combo you want? I used my mac on plenty of services that don't support macs - heck I told BellAtlantic that I had a PC so they'd come hook up my DSL way back when. I had my mac running on it before the tech even left the house (totally amazed, too). I think I'm confused... -Steve -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
