Why can't you just configure your TCP/IP stuff on your own and use whatever DSL/ISP combo you want? I used my mac on plenty of services that don't support macs - heck I told BellAtlantic that I had a PC so they'd come hook up my DSL way back when. I had my mac running on it before the tech even left the house (totally amazed, too).
