Why don't you find another way to file and sort? Try Rules.
If
<From > <Contains> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Then
<Move Message> to <Some Folder>
Or you can <Run AppleScript> to add a prefix yourself.
Do you honestly expect a mailing list to change its distribution methods
just for you? I belong to about 20 mailing lists. Only two of them add
prefixes (which annoys me, as it happens).
