Uhh, I'm not so sure. Cmd-L is still Refresh View in EvX, but according to the Help it is for IMAP, Hotmail, and online POP accounts. So the shortcut is still there, but the functionality is different. Cmd-Shift-O is a toggle to view Unread Only, or view all, so it is a workaround but not exactly the same as refreshing the view.
