Looks like this is a funky cosmetic bug. Thanks for reporting it. -----Original Message----- From: Remo Del Bello [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, April 02, 2002 3:34 PM To: Entourage:mac Talk Subject: Time adjustment for Time Zone oddity
Using OS X 10.1.3 and Entourage v.X 10.0.1 (1331) I'm trying to create a calendar event for 9AM on Sunday, April 7th (Daylight Savings Time begins on the 7th). I'm in the Los Angeles area (so Pacific Time Zone). When I create the event, the event window is updated with a message indicating that: "In the Calendar, the event time has been adjusted for your time zone" and the calendar reflects an 8AM start time. At first I thought that this was just tied into Daylight Savings Time and when the clock rolled forward it would display the correct time, but that is not the case. When I set the System Date & Time to sometime on the 7th the calendar remained the same. Also strange, if I change the starting time of the event to 10AM it is not automatically adjusted in the calendar.
