G'day Folks A client to my employer has had a couple of dramas with Office X that I'm hoping listers can shed some light on ...
Firstly, one lady had the date on her iMac go haywire recently & ever since then Office Notifications has insisted on advising her of every event in her calendar, even those that are months away, whenever she starts her iMac. The only solution she's found is to quit Office Notifications which then means she doesn't get the notifications she wants. [She uses ON to advise her of in office events like meetings about an hour beforehand] Can anyone suggest a real fix for this? Next is more a case of stupidity but it still needs fixing. A couple of months ago one of the young lads there installed Office X on a new Mac using a pirate serial so that the user of that Mac could be using Office X while still waiting for delivery of his copy. Now that he has his copy how can he remove the pirate serial & replace it with the legitimate one? Finally, I think I saw a message a while back from someone asking listers whose copy of Office X lost its serial when applying the SR1 Updater to contact them. Last night I received email saying that this had happened to the first person in this office to apply that updater. Others are holding off on the update until they know what to do about it. [This does make me wonder if applying the SR1 Updater might fix the 2nd problem though] Cheers, Pedro :-) Web: <http://www.pedro.net.au> PGP Key ID: 387CD96F Instant messaging...
