The date on this Mac is now correct but the problem persists. It 
was way off in the 70's.

I have a copy of the Remove Office Application & have had cause 
to use it for another client. If i remember correctly it removed 
preferences etc. but not the M$ User Data folder & contents [but 
I'll back that up first anyway]. Why didn't I think of using 
that sooner? ... doh!!!

Is M$ support so quick & efficient outside the US? We're in Australia.
