Applescript obviously knows to behave perfectly once the two of you speak :-). Now it's showing up whether it's in "my" scripts folder or the other one. It doesn't have .scpt after it (in the folder, not the menu), so that must not be necessary. I have no idea what I did wrong the first time to make it not show up.
