I'll take your word for it that there is no general reference in Calendar
Preferences, Beth. Must be a new thing they added in X like getting rid of
the MRU for people who feel invaded that way too.

But now that it's happened to you just once - in two years or so of having
Entourage, you know what to do in future. The next time you get an
invitation in the form of am email (and they're very obvious when you get
them) before you put them in your Storage folder that you call by the quaint
name of "Deleted Items", press the button called Cancel Invitations. And/Or
turn off the Reminder.

If you go to your Calendar even now and open the event, you'll see you can
still cancel Invitations (button in the top toolbar). If you do that when
the invitation comes in, it won't invade your calendar and you won't get a
reminder.
