Understood, and it's a sliding scale - Adobe took lots of heat for 'dragging
their feet' on Photoshop 7, but it seems their gamble paid off. You guys
were under LOTS of heat, not just internally, to get a 'flagship product'
out to show off the nifty cool OS X features.

Would have been nice if Apple had made any effort to bring in their part of
the deal as well, instead of spending their resources ego-posturing - well,
at least now that saner minds are active in engineering over at Apple,
there's hope that OS X will come along faster and better. It already looks
that way.

Nevertheless, I do agree with Kevin that 're-evaluating' strategy might be a
good idea, at the very least if it means putting some pressure on Apple.
