Oh I agree it's dodgy, and low down thing to do since MS has been such a
fervent supporter recently, but I think they are just trying to fill a
non-MS need for those who don't want MS products. And there are still alot
out there. Heck I know a lot of PC users who refuse to use outlook and IE
due to constant security/snooping issues.

3 years ago I refused to even use IE, now I have the newest version always
and have office vX and use it daily and freely admit my unabshed love for
it,at the same time I have friends who reel at the very thought. Those
people aren't going to MS no matter what, not even if it was free, and IE
is.

We'll all chose free when we can, which is only gonna shoot apple in the
foot later when MS is tired of developing apps for sale that apple later
makes for free. The this whole "you need to support us too" cat fight will
start all over.

But if you dont have IE and dont much like the palm desktop, and like the
sleek user at ease apple seems to build in, there's no doubt those people
are gonna use the new applications.

I can't imagine not using iphoto, imovie and itunes now, but I already have
a solution for my mail and scheduling needs - entourage. Hell I treid to
erase mail off my system and couldn't, apple even told me to I couldn't. I
dont much like the idea I can't delete the damned thing, at least it's
small. I also dont want 6 apps if one will do it, and one does, entourage.

Now, if Mail syncs my visor, well.... I might just toy with the idea. I did
my first sync and it seemed to work despite not really supposed to, but who
knows what will change. And things do change.
