They don't, but many seem to be using it with success. The main issue seems
to be the fact that Palm Desktop 4.0 comes with an additional Palm OS update
that isn't compatible with the version of Palm OS that Handspring licenses
from Palm. When Palm Desktop tries to synch it tries to upload the latest
update to the handheld which can't accept it and the synch dies. The
workaround seems to be to remove the "v3.5.3 Update" folder from the "Palm
OS� Updates" folder in the main Palm folder.
