Paul:

Here's what I have:

Contacts: about 1000, 350 of which are email-only
Calendar events: 643, 60 of which are birthdays (recurring yearly)
Tasks: 12 (long-term; I don't really use Tasks much)
Notes: 33, most quite short

I don't think I ever use links

Other than birthdays, I have very few recurring events.

I only use fonts in Notes (I use the smaller/larger option). Everything else
I do in plain text, including ALL outgoing email.

I have 15GB of free space. I use Disk Warrior regularly. I have defragmented
the drive twice in the past year, but hesitate to do it more often after the
discussion on MacInTouch where the consensus seemed to be that defragmenting
isn't necessarily a good idea under OS X.

Yep, I run fsck about once a week.
