Hello, I just found a nice little shareware to do something I had been putting off for too long: forward all my mail from an old yahoo web mail account to Entourage. The program is MailForward http://www.sspi-software.com/mailfwd_macx.html
Now I have a bunch of messages in Entourage that have today's date in the received date field. The sent date field is "correct". I'd like to know if there is a way to copy the sent date of a message into the received field (and maybe offset is by a couple seconds?). I've found the script Modify Date received on Applescriptcentral, but apparently the FTP server does not have sufficient ressources to let me have it. There is also the case of the archived sent mail on the yahoo account: they suffer from the same date problem as the other messages, and they obviously appear to Entourage as incoming messages I'd like to know if it is possible to transform a received message into a sent message. I then would just need to do the Sent date field copy into the received field again. The senders are correct on those messages. Anyone with the time and scripting skills to look into this one?
