Go to 'Mail & News Preferences' --> 'Proxies' If you check 'Mail or 'Secure', you have a pop-up panel that allows you to select the use of 'SOCKS' or 'TUNNEL' proxy support. I'm referring to the 'Tunnel' support, and what it's based on (there's a proprietary MS protocol called PPTP Tunnel, which it might be, but not sure - hence my query).
