Microsoft's site for bug reports is: https://webresponse.one.microsoft.com/oas/public/AssistedIntro.aspx
This site allows a complete bug report to be filed, including demonstration files, to allow support personal fully understand the system configuration and problem scenario. The tracking allows for support personal to follow-up and ask questions if they do not understand the problem report, and allows the person filing the report to track the progress of the problem report. Up until recently, it allowed reporting of Mac office bugs, though it has always been a bit hit or miss. Frequently, the site blocks reporting of Macintosh related bugs for weeks or months. The main issue is the initial page's drop down box, which seems to get edited by people who do not actually know the full range of Microsoft products, leading to the deletion of the Macintosh related choices (as is the situation now). What is particularly annoying is that the site does know about Macintosh product codes and could easily have been designed to allow the product code to be entered at first, bypassing all the editing problems that seem to occur when the site is updated, or simply correct the selection based on the entered product ID if the initial selection was not correct. -- Eric Hildum -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:Entourage-Talk-Off@;lists.letterrip.com> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
