Paul's script will move folders of messages across between Entourage versions/identities, but you shouldn't need the script for that. Try going to File -> Import, then "Import information from an application", then "Microsoft Entourage 2001". Check "Messages", then click Next. Choose your identity folder, which is located here: Macintosh HD:Documents:Microsoft User Data:Office 2001 Identities:<Your Identity>
Does it work? If not, it could be a sign of database corruption in your Office 2001 identity. Start up in OS 9 (or start up Classic), then launch Entourage 2001 holding down the Option key. When the Rebuild dialog box comes up, choose to do a Typical Rebuild. When that's done, go back to Entourage X, and try the above again. If you do find the need to go to Paul's scripts, they should work. He and the Read Me can probably explain them better than I, however.
