If this happens when pressing "Send Now": Some people have found their modems/high-speed routers have been causing the problem. If you have a high speed connection, does unplugging the router and connecting directly to the modem/gateway help? You might need to update firmware for the device.
If it happens right when attaching the item: Do a database rebuild. Start Entourage holding down the Option key. When the Rebuild dialog box comes up, choose to do a Typical Rebuild. If that doesn't help , try deleting your Entourage preferences... ~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.Entourage.plist If that doesn�t help try moving the following file to the Desktop.
