I saw this too quite recently after running a script that I attempted to stop, but I had to force-quit Entourage to get it to stop. I tried quitting Entourage, a simple rebuild of my mailbox, turning off Office Notifications, logging out and back in, but the only solution I found was to actually restart -- then I got my "snappy" Entourage back. -- Glenn L.
