Hi Neil,

There's a script called Nuke Messages that will do this.  Just be sure you
don't unintentionally run the script on the wrong message; once it's gone,
it's gone for good!  Here's the link:

As long as you have a steady finger and aren't apt to click the wrong menu
item by mistake, there's a script called Nuke Messages that will do this.
