Title: Re: Keychain and slowness problems
Sounds like it might be a corrupted Keychain. You might want to try an Apple utility called Keychain First Aid:

Hopefully that will at least take care of your first problem.

Subject: Keychain and slowness problems

Using 10 10.2.6 and Entourage 10.1.4 on G4

1. When I open Entourage, (a) Confirm Access to Keychain window appears, asking permission to decrypt. I check Always Allow. (b) Same window reappears. This time when I check Always Allow,  (c) the Password for my mail server window opens (with the correct ID). When I enter  password (and check Save password), (d) Confirm Access to Keychain window appears. When I check Always Allow, program then downloads my mail.

When I try replying or sending a message, I am again asked go through steps a and c.

How can I avoid all this wasted time???

2. When I open either address book (1109 items) or calendar, if can now take up to 10 seconds. How speed this back to the way E’rage once operated? I have just rebuilt database with no noticeable effect.
