Thanks for the detailed explanation. The main time I would want to use my
local SMTP server would be when traveling, so I guess I may as well forget
it since it isn't reliable. As Harry said, I blame the spammers, not
Earthlink; Earthlink is just trying to protect us all. Sorta like airport
security checks.
