That is what I'm doing now. I was looking for a more incremental way of doing the backup. For example, I might get 50M of mail a week, and 90% of it is transient (i.e., read and trash). Since the MUD folder is ~1G, I do a 1G file backup to (potentially a new) DVD-R every week.
