I have a client who I just migrated from Mail.app to Entourage X. I had forgotten that when I setup Mail.app originally, I turned on the Hebrew char palette so she could email her friends in Israel. It took a while for her to get the hang of that, but she did. Now that I have her used to Entourage, we both realized that she no longer has the ability to compose emails in Hebrew.
I've looked around to see if there are any inexpensive ways to add Hebrew support to Entourage, but I am not finding much. The workaround seems to be for her to compose her emails in TextEdit, for example, and then paste them into Entourage? Reading Hebrew she receives doesn't seem to be a problem, so it's just composing that we need to cover. Is the TextEdit workaround the only solution? If so, it's a shame as it's a bit clumsy for her. She is somewhat older, new to the Mac and still finding all of this a bit overwhelming. Will Entourage ever support this natively the way Mail does? Laurie A.
