If your computer will boot into OS 9, do that. Copy the Microsoft User Data folder from the OS X /Users/username/Documents folder to the root Documents folder on the HD, replacing. Launch OE 5, which will now use this MUD folder and its Identities subfolder. OE 5 really ought to be able to import from OE 4.5. If it can, then after importing and quitting OE 5, copy (or alias) the Identities subfolder on the root MUD into the OS X user MUD, replacing. Entourage X can import from that. If OE5 really can't import from 4.5 as above, maybe there's something wrong with the data. If so, I think you can drag out messages (no more than 1000 at a time) from 4.5 to a Finder folder to make files, and from there into OE 5 or even into Entourage X. (It would be great if those OE 4.5 mail folder files were the same as real MBOX files and could be dragged direct into Entourage, but I'm pretty sure they weren't anything of the sort.) You should be able to do that if your computer can't boot into OS 9 as well. Run OE 4.5 in Classic, drag out messages to Finder folders, drag the files they make into Entourage X. You can export Address Book (Contacts) as a text file and import it into Entourage from the text file. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/toc.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
