I know this isn't a Spam Sieve support list, but wonder if other Entourage X users have experienced this.
Since I started using Spam Sieve, whenever incoming mail is being downloaded, Entourage X slows to a halt. During the download, I can't open and read email, switch mailboxes, type a new email, etc. That wasn't the case before Spam Sieve. Once the download is completed, I regain control of EX. The same is true when in other applications. If I'm working in word during a scheduled download, Word pauses. Typed characters stop appearing on the screen. Then as soon as the download is completed, the characters appear in the Word document. I have about 9700 spam messages and about 1200 good messages in the corpus. Accuracy has been pretty good. No real complaints there. Is this pausing behavior normal for a multi-tasking OS, or do I have a problem?
