Hi Lindsley, Either ... sort of.
If you only want specific messages from a folder, then drag only those messages to the desktop (or to a folder on the desktop) where they will become .eml files. To import them into the other identity, you will have to drag the .eml files themselves, though you can collectively select them and do it in one fell swoop. Or you can drag an entire folder to the desktop (but subfolders *separately*) to create an MBOX file, which can be dragged into the other identity (with all contained messages intact). However, as Mark pointed out, if a folder contains more than 100-150 messages, you'll need to divide the messages up in order to avoid losing any. That means you'll be exporting them as groups of .eml files unless you create additional folders within Entourage for each group, and then you're back to exporting as MBOX files.
