I tried this and all the permissions were changed to rwxrwxrwx. But still the error persists. Barry: > What you are seeing is consistent with a corrupt database (or maybe even a > database permissions problem) I made a new account in OS X and dragged a copy of my Main Identity folder into that account's Documents folder. Then I launched Entourage without getting the permission error. So the permissions are set the same (obviously) for both users, but Entourage launches fine for one and not the other. Curious. Two questions: 1. Given the fact that a new account doesn't show the same error, should I still consider the database may be corrupt? 2. If it is corrupt, what is my best course of action? Thanks to everyone again!
