I have had my Tivo so long now that I do not think I do.

Julian, I realize that there are AppleScript solutions for just about
anything that a person might want to do with Entourage. My point is that
despite all of the websites containing thousands of helpful scripts, only a
small (a very small) minority of Entourage users ever use them. My guess is
that this list greatly represents the "minority" of users (users that I
would consider "advanced users") therefore it is difficult for many on this
list to understand any reason to expand the capability of rules beyond what
it currently can do. I have not taken a close look yet but can rules
actually do anything new in Entourage 2004?

The day that AppleScript truly works like a VCR (or Tivo), where I can tell
it to record and playback something (and it plays it exactly how I recorded
it 100% of the time) then the average user may be able to utilize it as a
productive tool. The last time I tried to record an AppleScript (about a
year ago) it did not properly capture what I was trying to record.
