The suggestion is to do it by real AppleScript (not GUI scripting), using AppleScript Studio for the UI stuff. I said I would look into it. (Another possibility for the UI would be FaceSpan X, but that's expensive. I'll see.) > >> But it >> will be quite a big project and won't get done too quickly. No, sorry. I'm certain that this won't work with GUI scripting. It will be a mess. I can tell you how to get the list if you want to try. In due course, I will have a go at making an AppleScript Studio, or FaceSpan, version. The problem there will be that to be able to deal with every option chooseable by the user, a separate 'whose' clause needs to be pre-prepared. The number of combinations could be "93 zillion" which might be daunting. Or just possibly I might be able to do using 'run script' and put the whose clause together on the fly. That would be more fun. But this project will take some time. If you want to mess about with a GUI version in the meantime, please do so. But I don't really want to get involved with something that I'm pretty sure is not going to be safe or reliable. I'd rather do it right. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/toc.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - **2004**, X or 2001.
