I just ran the installer for Office 2004 and I cannot get any program to
open; I get this error message:
Microsoft� Excel (Program) has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience.
Please tell Microsoft� about this problem.
I click send every time. I also tried to register at Microsoft� and it
tells me my number is wrong and it is not:
You have entered an invalid PID for a registered Microsoft product.
* Product Identification (PID; a valid product identification number or
product serial number is required to register this product. You can locate
this number by selecting 'About this product' from the Help menu.):
I am entering the number in the About Excel (Program), not the Product Key.
Should it be the Product Key? It says the number from the "About this
product," but it will not accept it.
