Don't try Cmd-Delete, as it will delete the entire message. The best I know is to do Shift-Option-left arrow to select the word, then Backspace to delete. There is a preference under General prefs to select Microsoft Office keyboard shortcuts for editing text, but "delete previous word" does not appear to be among them; check the Help under "Microsoft Office shortcuts". > > Also, if I wanted to receive no notification when a message arrives that's > being handled by the Mailing List Manager, how could I do this? > I'm not certain. You could try setting MLM to allow further rules, and then set up a first rule to do "if is from mailing list do not notify", and see if that works (and make that rule disable subsequent rules). > Oh, one more: I thought there was a key command for opening/closing the > attachment window in a message (I hate trying to hit that little widget when > I'm using the trackpad).
