You know, they really need to fix that, and bring it in line with the rest of the Office suite (cmd-delete) or the rest of the Mac world (option-delete). There's no good reason for keyboard shortcuts in Entourage to be different than those in Word when it comes to text editing in an email message. Of course, they also didn't think the ability insert text that's a URL was important enough to include, so who knows what's going on in the minds of the Entourage team... Not that 2004 isn't great. But there are some missing features that make me want to tear my hair out.
