Didn't this thread start with someone's user moving the real folder to
another location and then freaking out when Entourage opened up with an
empty identity? 

I've had a couple of users do that recently (it amazes me that neither of
them saw the causality, but I suppose the shock of losing all their mail
wiped their short-term memory) so what I'd like to see is something similar
to the prompt which I seem to recall OE 5 having if it found the default
user's data was missing. I don't recall the exact wording, but it basically
instructed the user of the correct location for the folder. That would
hopefully remind these users that they just did something which they now
need to reverse in order to restore their mail.
