Didn't this thread start with someone's user moving the real folder to another location and then freaking out when Entourage opened up with an empty identity? I've had a couple of users do that recently (it amazes me that neither of them saw the causality, but I suppose the shock of losing all their mail wiped their short-term memory) so what I'd like to see is something similar to the prompt which I seem to recall OE 5 having if it found the default user's data was missing. I don't recall the exact wording, but it basically instructed the user of the correct location for the folder. That would hopefully remind these users that they just did something which they now need to reverse in order to restore their mail.
