I've examined the contents of .rge package files and this is what they look
like (for a mail export only):
Message Archive.rge:
Archive.xml
Contents:
Info.plist
PkgInfo
Mail:
Folders On My Computer:
FolderName:
Messages.mbox
If I compare Messages.mbox in this .rge file with the MBOX created by a
drag-n-drop, the messages therein are identical (though in a different order
for some reason). The Messages.mbox file doesn't contain any extra
information that is not contained in the drag-n-drop-created MBOX. The
obvious assumption is that the other information is in one of the other
files in the archive. Archive.xml is the only file with any relevant info,
however. It seems to contain the color of the project/category of the
messages, the project/category name and ID. It does not have the ID of every
message, however, nor does it have every message's category. So how could
Entourage possibly reconstruct links, accounts and categories from this?
