I have tried other fonts in Entourage 2004. 9 point Verdana. Ariel, Geneva. Helvetica. Whats weird is that different fonts respond differently. Some smooth all items ignoring the prefs. Some smooth only certain items ignoring the prefs on some but not on others. Fonts that do not smooth everything (geneva and arial for example) follow the same pattern of smoothing and not smoothing (ie the same items are smoothed and unsmoothed even when you switch fonts). In Entourage X I had no problems with fonts. In fact I still have a copy of it on another partition which I sometimes use for screenshots for clients. Here is some more weirdness: The weird font behavior is ingrained so deep that both Word and Entourage display it even at startup. http://www.mexpix.com/images/startupentourage.jpg But both Excel and Powerpoint display the 9 point font properly respecting the smoothing prefs.... no image, but you get the idea.. raul http://www.mexpix.com/headingeast -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
