It's not a problem; it's a missing feature that was available in previous

Yes. I think that's where my description was too vague. Yes, I previously
could perform a "Save As," and had three options as to how to save the
message to disk, including to html, if the original message was formatted
that way.

Yes, the same as before. The Save to HTML option was available as a third
option in Entourage X (and maybe other previous versions).

Yes, but it's not the same and isn't as robust an option, since the
recipient will now have to open an attachment instead of seeing the original
message in all of its HTML splendor when the message is displayed.

I hope the above explains my quest a bit better, and I appreciate your
response. If you're not familiar with the option, it must have been dropped
somewhere in the development process. Too bad.
