It actually is the screen resolution. A resolution that is 1024 pixels wide
will not be able to fit the Preview Pane on the right particularly well,
regardless of whether it's being shown on a 12", 14", 15" or 17" monitor.
Using a larger resolution (1280x854, 1440x900, 1680x1050) makes it much more
useful.
