I'm running Ent 11.1.0 on OS 10.3.7 and I am about to launch my new website.
Although I have recently cleaned out my database, I still have about 3000
people to inform of the new website--and later of my new email address.

The guy at my mailserver tells me that I am limited to twenty addresses per
message. His first suggestion was this:

"But, possibly best solution is creating a mailing list on mail server which
would go like this: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and if you send your e-mail to that
address, all the people that are listed on mail server under that address
will receive that e-mail."

Twenty minutes later he emailed again:

"I have new knowledge about the mailing lists... My colleague said it's not
a good solution and mailing lists are very much in decrease because if
person that got your mail by mailing list wants to reply, the replying mail
goes to you and all the other recipients that are listed in mailing list.
So my friend suggests that you download a free software that can send mail
to a 100 people at once.
Here's the link http://www.infacta.com/download.asp?a=mnuwhere you can
download it"

When I checked that link, I discovered it was only for Windows. I could not
find any suggestions on the Entourage website, so I'm wondering if there are
other options available. On Google I found something called Intellimerge,
but don't know if it's what I need.

So rather than asking about solutions, I thought I'd just state the problem:

I want to communicate the same message to hundreds or thousands of people in
my Entourage database.

What's the easiest, fastest, cheapest, most secure, and least offensive way
of doing that (assuming that all those factors are not mutually
exclusive!!)?

Thanks!

Walt
