Well I've learned to to live with this for years now but people new to Entourage with IMAP always find it strange: I can create new folders only below INBOX, but not on the root level.
So I'd recently again invested some time trying to fix this issue. I'm able to receive proper behavior in Apple Mail and Thunderbird by specifying INBOX as the root folder, but that doesn't help with Entourage. I don't know whether this is a special problem in the combination Courier IMAP and Entourage, as I do not have another working IMAP server to try. If someone was able to fix this, I'd like to here how he made it and if other's investigated in that problem as well without success, please confirm it didn't work for you, so no one has to waste his time in trying to get this working until MS fixes it probably in the future.
