It's nothing new to have high-level people having problems with software
like this. I've come across that myself.

As for your specific problems having to do with mysteriously deleting
messages, I can't say I've seen that yet. However, I do currently have a
report of someone at my university who is saying that is happening.

Given that Entourage 2004 SP1 has such a hard time automatically managing
"Deleted Items" ... it doesn't have nearly the same capabilities for an
Exchange account that it would for an IMAP account (i.e. "purge on quit" and
etc.) ... I have a hard time believing that Entourage is actually the
culprit. But it's not outside the realm of possibility that it is at fault,
or that some confluence of circumstances involving Entourage is resulting in
this problem.

Since it's a high-level person, I have to ask if this person's mailbox is
delegated to another user ... perhaps even an Outlook/Win user. If so, how
many delegates are there, and what client apps are they using?

Perhaps if we are seeing the same thing, we can work together to find some
commonalities and report this to Microsoft. Whether they can take the time
to answer questions on this mailing list is another thing altogether.
