Hello. Im running entourage from 2001 on mac os 10.3.9 Today, I tried to delete my trash in entourage, since i realized it was quite full. It went through the process, but got stuck and never finished. I was able to click on my folders (which showed how many messages i had in them) but no messages came up (whereas you normally see all the messages in your inbox). Eventually i used force quit. I tried to reopen Ent but it wouldnt let me so i restarted my computer. Again, it wouldnt let me and said it couldnt access my database, did i want to do a typical rebuild? yes, but said error, try advanced. i tried and again error...said compression didnt work and likely that i would not be able to rebuild my database.
now it says the entourage temp folder could not be found. it is lkely that you have a file with the same name or an alias that doesn't point to a folder. (i did try to reinstall entourage, but apparently i messed something up and dont understand what i should do) I probably backed up my entourage database about a month ago, so im ok on that, but since i cant get entourage to even open, im not sure what to do in order to have it work and how to put in my backup disk. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
