Hey, can I get a off-list contact too :-)
I too have times when E-rage tells me the database is corrupt, and needs to
be fixed up.  It sometimes happens once a day for a few days, then just goes
away.  I am very tidy about my email, the database is small in size, just
lots of messages.

I think it all started a while back when I created an outgoing rule to
delete attachments after the message was sent.  I don't really need a copy
of a file in E-rage if I have a local copy on disk.

I suspect this is causing fits to the database, but I deal with it as I made
constant backups and this is something I want to do.

It always tells me in initial scan it found problems and asks me to save a
report, the report is sans any real data, other than a start scan and end
scan time.
