Title: Re: Coincidence (lack of keyboard response)
Linda,
That is a bug in 2004 after viewing a complex HTML message. Quitting and restarting is the only fix that I know of. As for your database, there is no max size (other than the free space on your hard drive). If you’re concerned about it, hold down option while launching Entourage and select “compact database” from the Database Utility.

Subject: Coincidence (lack of keyboard response)
Hi there,
So it was pure concidence that the lack of keyboard response would occur
just after opening attachments from the preview pane. I've just now lost my
keyboard control (delete, arrow keys to scroll through the message list,
Command-N for new message) and didn't open *anything* to invoke the
behavior.
Yesterday, for no apparent reason, my cursor disappeared whenever it passed
over top of any part of Entourage (2004, Mac OS X 10.3.9). It would not
reappear until I clicked out where I thought the desktop was, and would then
disappear again as soon as I click in Entourage.
As ever, quitting the app and relaunching it fixes it up.
I know my database is too big to be useful and I'm asking for problems -- is
there a max limit in version 2004?
Thanks,
Linda
