Title: Recurring tasks

I am using Entourage 2004
Is there any way to “get rid” of recurring tasks once they have been completed? By that I mean I have a list of daily tasks that I have to do, once they are done I “check” them off of my list in the task window. But the crossed out task remains in that window – the only way  can get rid of them is to highlight them and delete the group.

Is there another way to do this? I’d like it if the completed tasks wouldn’t remain in the tasks window once they are crossed out.
